You're genius. I used to just take a chance with my plumbing and dump it down the sink. :) Now we just nuke bacon so I can't really use your advice anyway. But it's cool!

Thanks for recognizing the genius of this "green" method of handling bacon grease. Usually we use a can or empty yogurt cup but the recycling bin was empty & I had to think quickly.
If only we had a compost bin!
