Wordless Wednesday at the Swim Banquet

All three boys let me wear their Swim Metals. Not sure if I felt like Michael Phelps' Mom or more like Ed McMahon & MC Hammer in Cash4Gold.

Wordless Wednesday in the Garden - Perennial Favorites

The newly planted garden plot. The strawberries have come back in full force, taking up a bit too much real estate.

Looks like we might have a good crop soon, if I can defend against marauding birds, chipmunks, raccoons and other garden pests.

Welcome back, Chives!!!

Lettuce gone wild! This came back from last year. A meager crop but thanks to 2 packets of seeds, more is on the way soon.

Lilac!!!!!! Yea!

Not sure what these are. Looks like Buttercups. Got these last year at the Perennial Potluck.

Peony Plant - One of my favorite flowers!

Wordless Wednesday - The Good Old Days

Last night Colin pulled out his "Giant Notebook of Photos" that documented his 2.5 years in Montessori School ( from age 3 months to age 2.75 ). This was a gift from his teacher. Good times! Seems even better when looking back!!!

HO HO Holy Wordless Wednesday - It's Christmas Eve!

It's finally here! Time to finish wrapping those presents, buy some last minute groceries and fill up my tank!
This is the price I paid at Kroger Marketplace with my 20 cent fuel perk!

A man at the next pump over remarked how slow the pumps were today. It was as if he was reading my mind. At first I thought that perhaps the station was running low on gas....

As I drove away, I realized that the gallons were most likely flowing at the same rate. It was the $$$ amount which was moving more slowly! 1/3 rd the price that I had been paying a few months ago!!!

So much for being wordless! Sorry Uncle Marvin!

I might as well use a few more words to wish all my friends and family that might stop by here a very Happy Channukah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa or as I like to say "Happy HannaKwanzaMas" and Best Wishes for a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

Wordless Wednesday - with really long captions...O.K. almost wordless? How about not so wordless???

What to do with a 20 year old Aloe house plant that is no longer wanted in the house???..... if you are my husband, you hang it from a tree in the back yard!!!!

Maybe we can do that with the 20 year old pit group that is finally in our basement. The lovely shade of brown would fit in with our back yard motif!

Not sure how the neighbors would feel about seeing furniture hanging from our trees.....
